November 2022 - Sprint 2
Here are the features and functions that are being rolled out on or about November 28, 2022
Description
Business Users can set messages to expire.
What it means
As a sender: You can set a message to disappear at some point in the future. This can be useful for messages that could be in the public (e.g. via SMS) that you deem to be moderately sensitive.
As a recipient: If you view the message before it expires, you'll see it as usual. If you try to view the message after the expiration date, you'll see a nice message that the message is no longer available.
Description:
We will verify that all existing mobile phone numbers in our system are valid and able to receive text messages. MessageSpring will send reports to business customers identifying all phone numbers that fail our validation checks.
When new subscribers sign up or subscribe to businesses on the MessageSpring platform, phone numbers that are not valid mobile numbers will be rejected. This will ensure that the MessageSpring platform maintains only good and valid phone numbers.
Description: We are enabling subscribers to manage images in messages the way that they do in other apps. For example:
- The user can swipe right/left to view the next/previous images.
- The user can swipe down to exit from the image viewer.
- The user can use pitching to zoom an image in/out.
- The user can download the image.
- The user can share the image.
- The image viewer shows a number that represents the image number that the user is viewing. Eg. 2/5 means the user is viewing image number 2 out of total of 5 images.
Description: We have removed some duplicate data from the MessageSpring CRM.
Description: Several enhancements to message metrics have been made. For example, business customers can see more accurate Viewed metrics.
Description: We have fixed a bug for Android users. In some cases, users opening the MessageSpring app on Android phones are stuck on the splash screen.
